Since 2012, EAAES has sponsored and coordinated the running of the Aqualibrium and Model Bridge Building Competitions for high school students.
The primary goal of these contents is to empower the student and encourage them to pursue careers in the Built Environment.
These competitions are run in collaboration with the Eswatini Science Teachers Association (ESTA). The Construction Industry Council has also provided sponsorship since 2021.
The winning schools in each competition the compete with schools from Lesotho South Africa, Namibia, and Zimbabwe in South Africa. Their accommodation, food and travel is fully sponsored by the South African Institution of Civil Engineers (SAICE).
